Day 4: Tarangire-Arusha-Zanzibar Beach Hotel
Enjoy an early morning game drive at the Tarangire National Park, falling in love with its untouched wilderness.
The Tarangire National Park offers a wide variety of wildlife. The principal features of the park are flood plains and grassland areas, mainly comprising of various types of acacia trees, and a few scattered baobabs, tamarind and the sausage trees. The Tarangire River, after which the park is named, provides the only permanent source of water for wildlife in the area.
The most common animals found in the park include zebra, wildebeest, lions, leopards, waterbucks, giraffe, elephants, gazelles, impala, gerenuk, lesser kudu and the beautiful fringe-eared Oryx. If you’re really lucky, you might get to spot the tree-climbing python, for which the park is famous, or the greater kudu and the roan antelope, that are rare species in Northern Tanzania. More than 300 species of birds have also been recorded in the Park.
After breakfast, embark on a drive to Arusha city. One of our Randu Safaris representatives will you at Arusha Airport and de-brief you about the safari. You shall then board your flight to Zanzibar from Arusha. Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, and after your clearance at immigration, you will be met with Zanzibar transfers transfer to South East beach coast.
Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge of your choice.
