This 3-days safari trip will take you to the Tsavo East and Tsavo West National park to enjoy observing the wildlife of the region. Tsavo East “Theatre of the wild” – The sight of dust-red elephant wallowing, rolling and spraying each other with midnight blue waters of palm-shaded Galana River is one of the most evocative images in Africa. This, along with the 300 kilometers long Yatta Plateau, the longest lava flow in the world, makes for an adventure unlike any other in the Tsavo East. The park forms the largest protected area in Kenya and is home to most of the larger mammals, including dust–red elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, kudu, gerenuk and 500 recorded bird species.

Day 1: Beach Hotel-Tsavo East National Park

Early in the morning, our guide picks you up from a hotel in Mombasa and for Tsavo East National Park. This drive normally takes 6 hours. You get at Tsavo east where you first check in at lodge within the park for lunch. This park is famous for the species of animals that are found in it. Starting with elephants, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, impalas, jackals among others. After lunch you enjoy game drives in the afternoon  where you will be tracking zebras till evening. You later drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 : Tsavo East-Tsavo West National Park

Start your day with a game drive before breakfast. Then after going back for your breakfast back from the lodge/camp, you leave Tsavo East National park for Tsavo West National Park. You enter Tsavo West while enjoying a game drive from the main entrance on your way to a lodge or camp for lunch. After lunch and relaxing, you leave for more game drives including visiting the Rhino Sanctuary within the park. You have a chance to see Rhinos, herds of Impalas, elephants and other predators like lions, cheetahs to mention a few. You later drive back to your camp/lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Tsavo West-Beach Hotel

After breakfast, you leave the Lodge for Mzima Springs (within Tsavo West National Park), where you will be able to see hippos and crocodiles, you later go further to view the lava flow (Shetani lava) and more natural features seen within this park. In the afternoon after lunch, you drive back to your beach hotel in Mombasa. From this point, you have options to sign up for other safari packages with Randu Tours and explore the Africa’s jungle.
